Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia De Rossi have been rumored about nonstop on their marriage, and now they have reportedly received harsh criticism from an educator.

Ellen DeGeneres's Dirty Secrets Revealed?

The two wives apparently received an insult from a Catholic school principal from Pennsylvania although it appeared that it didn't have anything to do with divorce rumors, but possibly due to the fact that DeGeneres and De Rossi are married.

On Wednesday, Philly.com reported that St. Andrew Elementary School Principal Nancy Matteo used a picture of DeGeneres on invitations for a school dance, which she reportedly apologized for. Matteo also apparently said that she was "obviously NOT thinking," and that the talk show host is a "poor role model."

"A role model, as defined by Webster's Dictionary, is a person who is unusually effective or inspiring in some social role, job, position, etc.," the principal wrote in an email to parents. "This does not describe her at all. We work so hard to be good role models and then I go and do something so stupid!"

She then added that she wanted all the invitations back so she could "personally destroy them."

There doesn't seem to be any word if Matteo's reason for destroying these invitations has anything to do with the fact that DeGeneres is openly gay and married to a woman.

The talk show host and her wife have been constantly rumored that they were in the process of a divorce although most of those reports come from tabloids.
