It seems like alleged budget woes are not causing the producers of Fast and Furious 7 to rein in the expenditure as news of another new cast member, Romeo Santos, coming on board was revealed.

On May 22 it was revealed that the Grammy-nominated singer will be joining the cast. Vin Diesel also announced that Santos will be co-starring when he took the stage with the singer at a concert at the Staples center in Los Angeles. The details of what role Santos, who is the former lead siger of the Bachata group Aventura.

Recently it was also revealed that the cost of the film is massive, at $200 million and that the producers were facing trouble claiming the loss -- in terms of using extra technology, lag time in filming, and getting Paul Walker's brothers to play him -- from the insurance company.

But an inside source also revealed that the production was having some kind of a face off with its insurance company, Fireman's Fund. The film has claimed $50 million because of the sudden death of Paul Walker which caused delays, the need to employ special effects and rehauling of the story.

The film will hit theaters in April 2015.
