The Mentalist's Teresa Lisbon and Patrick Jane are entering a new phase in their relationship, but there is one FBI agent who may not be overly pleased by the pair's sudden bout of romantic confessions.
Will A Short Season 7 'Encore' Run Spell The End Of The Mentalist?
That would be Agent Marcus Pike (Pedro Pascal), the man Lisbon had just agreed to marry mere hours before Jane hopped her D.C. bound flight to declare his love. While Lisbon claims that Pike will understand her sudden change in plans, it would be a little odd if the character just disappeared off screen without any form of fallout.
For his part, Pascal is just as unsure about Pike's future as the series' fans.
"[It's] all a question mark," Pascal told TV Line. "I don't know how it's being wrapped, if it's being wrapped up or anything."
In a recent Reddit AMA, Pascal spoke of his time with The Mentalist cast as a thing of the past.
"I had an amazing time with Robin Tunney, she is a new friend, and it was a really friendly set," Pascal explained to fans. "And Simon is a really great guy, the two of them have a really special chemistry and it was great to see that in person."
