In an interview dated May 29, John Barrowman, who plays Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow dished about what fans can expect from the upcoming season of The CW series.

Speaking to Zap2it the actor was cautious about giving away too many spoilers but fans know he is definitely returning as a series regular.

He jokingly threatened the interviewer when asked for spoilers and plot reveals. ""Oh yeah, I know lots," Barrowman said. "But if I told you, I'd have to send somebody out there to kill you."

But what he could do, was assure fans that season 3 will be nothing short of "amazing."

"I know some of what's going to happen," he added. "And for Arrow fans, it's going to be an amazing Season 3."

The actor went on to speak about his charcter's immortal powers, like when he was brought back to life after season 1.

"What you have to understand is that Malcolm Merlyn, he might not have died," Barrowman said. "He just knows how to do things -- in the same realm as Sing Your Face Off -- to do an impression of being dead. It's not always what it looks like and things are explained later." 

The release date for season 3 has not been revealed yet.

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on the CW.
