Will Agent Pike Return The 'The Mentalist' In Season 7? Upcoming Fallout From Jisbon Relationship?

Following the death of Red John and Jane's return to the states, The Mentalist switched its base of operations to the FBI and introduced a host of new characters following the switch up. According to Swallow, there was a brief moment when the CBS series was contemplating putting a romantic spin on Jane and Fischer's burgeoning friendship.

"A love triangle was an idea at first, but the writers realized how much they'd already invested in Jane and Lisbon. #DontStirthePot," Swallow tweeted in response to a fan inquiry on May 18.

Luckily for Jisbon shippers, the Pike and Lisbon were the only two who felt stirring the pot. Once Jane plucked up the nerve to tell Lisbon how he felt, however, Marcus Pike was quickly out of the picture.
