After Alyssa Funke reportedly committed suicide after receiving harassment for making a pornographic film, Miriam Weeks took to her Twitter page to express her outrage over how Funke's death was handled.

Weeks, who is an X-rated actress and a college student, tweeted a link to an article from The Huffington Post that mentioned that Funke's mother believes that cyberbullying was the reason for her daughter's suicide. Apparently, the police don't believe the online comments count as criminal harassment with no charges planned. This caused Weeks to reveal her angry thoughts on that.

"Police say there will be no punishment 4 the people who bullied Alyssa to death. This is an outrage.#justiceforalyssa," Weeks wrote on Tuesday with a link to the article.

That same day, Weeks added another tweet on the situation, comparing it to other people who have gone through the same tragedy.

"The people who are blaming Alyssa for being bullied: if a gay person was bullied and committed suicide as a result, would you blame them for," she wrote.

The actress then posted another tweet while sticking up for Funke.

"Being gay?No, you would blame the s---ty people who bullied them.Stop saying she deserved the consequences. She did absolutely nothing wrong," Weeks wrote.

Weeks wrote a column on XO Jane where she wrote about how she wished she could've done something to help Funke since they both went through similar situations. She ended her words with how people need to stop bullying sex workers.

"It's time that we end slut shaming and treat sex workers with respect and tolerance," Weeks wrote. "How many more people need to die before we realize that the hatred needs to end? I will never forget you, Alyssa."
