As the filming for Fast and Furious 7 is almost through, a new image featuring two cars from the set was revealed.

On June 8 a new image of the two cars was posted on the movie's official Facebook page. The cars don't look that striking or sophisticated though, more like old burnt out, mediocre models. One of them is a Honda.

In other recent news it was also revealed that the movie will be released in an IMAX for the very first time. On June 5, Cinemablend reported that the seventh film in the car-action series will see an IMAX release. In a new deal the movie's distributor Universal has promised to get 15 of its upcoming releases on the massive screens of the theatre franchise and Fast and Furious 7 and Jurassic World figure on that list.

'Action And Very Technical Set-Pieces' To Be Showcased In Movie?

This might help boost ticket sales for the film as well, which has already taken a considerable financial hit owing to production delays, rewrites and use of sophiticated tehcnology to finish Paul Walker's storyline in the film.

Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. He was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the accident. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Vin Diesel, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

The 40-year-old actor was halfway through filming Fast and Furious 7.
