As season 5 of The Good Wife recently wrapped, spoilers for the next chapter of the CBS legal drama have already started to do the rounds, most recently it was revealed that like the last season, season 6 will also be broken up into two parts.

In a new report dated June 8, it was revealed that the next chapter will be released in two parts. The first half releasing during fall with the second out during spring.

In a recent interview with Josh Charles, who played Will on the show, also spoke about the endurance of the CBS series and how it was one of the best shows around.

"I think it's well-done television, it's timely," he added. "I think the writers do a great job of working in storylines that are interesting and informative but not preachy or pretentious."

Charles went on to state that the show strikes dramatic and satirical.

"I think the show is dramatic and at times satirical," he said. "I think it combines different tones in a very good way and it never loses sight of its being there to entertain which I think is a very good driving force behind the show and leads to it not being pretentious which is what I appreciate about it.

The highlight of the finale for season 5 was Eli Gould (Alan Cumming) proposing Alicia (Julianna Margulies) becomea candidate for State's Attorney. The cliffhanger obviously had to do with the big decision Alicia will have to take now.

The finale, titled A Weird Year, aired on May 18.
