Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida's strange marriage has always been a topic of conversation; so it's no surprise Nida cleared up comments he made about his and Parks' prenup that had fans wondering if their relationship really is on the rocks.

Apollo Nida Says Phaedra Parks' Salary Caused Him To Committ Fraud?

It all comes after Nida gave Todd Tucker a little advice when it came to signing a prenup with Kandi Burruss during a special appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta's spinoff show, Kandi's Wedding. In the episode Nida made it clear to tell Tucker, 'Don't make the mistakes I did.' This caused many to speculate if he and Parks were having marital drama of their own.

Nida cleared it all up, saying earlier this week, "I had a lot to say about the prenup...Make sure you put your foot down...make sure you voice our opinion because I went into my relationship not really voicing an opinion because I believed that my wife had my best interest at hand... 1. being my wife and 2. being an attorney. So I was really nonchalant...So I told [Todd], 'don't make the mistake that I made."

Apollo Nida Wants Phaedra Parks To Wait For Him If He Goes To Prison?

He also set the record straight that he doesn't believe Parks took advantage of him, but he did add that he wishes he were more hands-on when it comes to constructing a prenup agreement.

"You have to know, if you've done what I've done (by not speaking up) ...you're going to be blindsided."

His intentions might have been to clear up rumors about a troubled marriage, but it seems like he just confirmed his original point; something is going on which is why he regrets not being more active in signing a prenup. Nida currently awaits his July 8 sentence after he pleaded guilty to several serious fraud charges including wire fraud.

In the meantime, Kandi's Wedding airs Sundays on Bravo at 8/7c.
