A new teaser for Ray Donovan's second season was revealed on June 13 and it gives away a whole bunch of spoilers.

While the teaser focusses on various plotlines, one of the more intriguing ones is Ray's (Liev Schreiber) relationship with his wife. In one quick bit Ray is almost seen sexually assaulting his wife, at first she says "no," but then smacks him hard in the face.

At another point it does seem like Ray is trying to win her trust agai, when she tells her therapist that he has bought her her dream home and also gotten their daughter into the best school in the city. But the therapist rebuffs Ray's efforts, calling them a bribe. But alas, it seems like Ray is going to slip again.

Ray Has 'Got His Hands Full With The FBI' With The Potential Of Having 'The Truth Come Out'? 

In the clip he is seen kissing a new character on the show, a Boston Globe journalist who is working on a book about Sully (James Woods) and the circumstances surrounding his death. Vinessa Shaw plays the part of the journalist, and as she is seen wheedling Ray to dig up the dirt, she realizes he is hard to break. Could the seduction be a trick on her part to get information out of Ray. It seems like it, because in another bit she is seen taking off on a boat giving Ray the finger as she leaves.

The second season will premiere on July 13.

Ray Donovan will air on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
