DeGeneres reportedly tweeted, "Go USA! Fastest goal in U.S World Cup History in the #USAvsGhana game. 32 seconds! It took me longer to look up where Ghana is." The joke has now been deleted off of DeGeneres' Twitter account, but that hasn't stopped people from discussing it.

Ellen And Portia's Big Summer Plans!

The United States beat Ghana yesterday in the World Cup 2-1. United States player Clint Dempsey scored only 29 seconds into the match.

DeGeneres isn't new to controversy. The comedienne's marriage to de Rossi has recently been in the news due to divorce rumors. The two were reportedly fighting over having children with DeGeneres being happy with their life the way it is currently.

"Portia's so wonderful. She's very kind and beautiful and generous. She's just perfection... you can't improve on perfection," DeGeneres' step-mom Virginia said recently. "We went to the wedding! It was sublime, spectacular. But it was also very private and beautiful." Virginia also commented that she didn't think the power couple would have any kids because of DeGeneres' age. "I mean, who's going to start having children at 56?"
