Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl), Will Graham (Dancy), and Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) were slowly watching their life force drain out of their bodies as season 2's "Mizumono" came to a close, and it remains to be seen who - if anyone - will survive Hannibal's latest killing spree. Luckily, Dancy recently provided a ray of hope for the fandom

"We have definitely got a history on our show of people surviving against all the odds - and I think to some extent that will continue," Dancy told TV Line.

While Game of Thrones is busy infusing television with the idea that frequent character death plays to the more realistic side of the story, Hannibal is still looking to preserve its main characters despite the series high mortality rate.

"I do see the appeal and the great realization in television that 'Oh, we can kill people, we can lose people - as in life!'" Dancy explained. "But then there also can be a bit of a swing back in the other direction where you say, 'That doesn't mean we have to.' Especially in our show, which is one step above reality."
