Porn actress Miriam Weeks who also goes by "Belle Knox" recently explained her view on how hypocritical she finds society to be along with why women are shamed in the X-rated industry.

Belle Knox Reveals Controversy Behind Her Stage Name

On Saturday, BaDoink Magazine posted an interview with Weeks who mentioned that women are oppressed more than men in their sexuality, and she explained where she thinks that comes from.

"A lot of it is just the fact that gender is so deeply ingrained in society," she said. "If you read biblical texts you'll see it's very oppressive towards women, starting with the creation story where women are blamed for the evil of the whole world. Also, the people controlling the narrative have been men."

Weeks then opened up on how society is hypocritical since people turn against her and "consume" her at the same time.

"Today everybody watches porn...there's sex everywhere you turn; we all consume it, we all love it, we all want it!" she said. "Yet none of us are willing to recognize the humanity of the people behind those billboards or behind those videos. So it's extremely hypocritical that people are watching porn and yet they choose to call me a slut or they choose to condemn me."

Weeks then revealed that she thinks anti-porn feminists are the ones who are doing more harm to women.

"Feminism is supposed to be about empowering women, giving us independence and choice, giving us the ability to freely think and say what we feel...and these anti-porn feminists are trying to tell me, 'No, you're not being empowered; you're a poor rescue project; you're a victim and this is how you need to feel,'" Weeks said. "That to me is so very anti-feminist."
