Model Cara Delevingne is fighting back after a reporter for Vogue Magazine called her out in an article for falling asleep during their scheduled interview.

In the interview, writer Plum Sykes wrote about her encounter with the 21-year-old model, which saw her oversleeping and arriving late, then falling asleep later on.

After explaining she had been to Shanghai, Scotland and possibly L.A. before arriving back in London before the interview, the model suggested going for massages, which is where the article on her seems to take a less-than-favorable turn.

"...Fifteen Minutes pass. No Cara. Half an Hour. Finally a masseuse appears and whispers to me that Cara has fallen asleep....Dear reader, to misquote Oscar Wilde, can I say that to oversleep once for a Vogue interview may be regarded as a misfortune, but to oversleep twice looks like carelessness?" Sykes wrote in her article.

The article continued with a quote from a photographer who claimed the model had fallen asleep during every shoot he was on, including once for seven hours during a Mulberry campaign, and alluded to the party lifestyle the model is often seen engaging in.

"So this is what the wildly successful, hugely in-demand, overtired, overworked supermodel and soon-to-be leading actress is really famous for in England: inspiring a new national sport, checking out what Cara Delevingne got up to the night before," Sykes wrote towards the end of her piece.

However, the model has since spoken out about the article, writing on her Twitter page June 24 that all is showed was how the fashion industry is unforgiving, she works extremely hard, and that she was appalled by how there is very little support for one another in the industry.

Vogue has yet to comment on Delevingne's response.
