Adele announced on her official website that she is pregnant on June 29, but never revealed the due date. Sources are now saying that the award-winning singer is 7 months pregnant and due in September.

An insider told heatworld exclusively, "Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible. She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it's been all about the baby."

The site also reported that Adele failed to attend several awards shows in recent months, including the Billboard Awards in the States in May to hide her pregnancy. When the platinum-selling recording artist did appear at the Ivor Novello Awards in London, the "Rolling In The Deep" singer wore a loose-fitting full-length black dress to disguise the baby bump. According to the insider, the 24-year-old snuck into the ceremony to avoid the red carpet and refused to speak to the press and pose for pictures.

Adele announced the news that she's expecting a child with her charity worker boyfriend Simon Knoecki with a statement on her website, adele.tv: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon. Yours always, Adele xx"

Adele is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Simon Konecki, 38, a charity worker. The couple first made their public appearance at the Grammys. The pair has been officially dating since January, when Adele cleared up rumors on her blog. Konecki is rumored to be proposing to the singer soon, according to Huffington Post.

Adele released her debut album "19" in 2008 and in 2009 received Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

At the 2012 Grammy Awards in February, she won awards for all six categories she was nominated for, making her the second female artist after Beyoncé Knowles to win six categories in a single night. Her second album, "21" stayed number 1 on the Billboard charts for 21 non-consecutive weeks, breaking the record for the longest number 1 album by a woman in Billboard history, beating the record formerly held by Whitney Houston's soundtrack "The Bodyguard".
