There was a Facebook page started up titled "R.I.P. Charlie Hunnam," which garnered close to one million "likes." The Facebook page read:

"At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (June 28, 2014), our beloved actor Charlie Hunnam passed away. Charlie Hunnam was born on April 10, 1980 in Newcastle upon Tyne. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."

Hunnam is currently in the process of filming the final season of Sons of Anarchy. The actor has been spotted on the set wearing a prison outfit, indicating that Jax will be in prison at some point. There are also photos of him likely in character as Jax while riding a motorcycle, which suggests he may not be in prison for long.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not specified a premiere date yet.
