Sami (Allison Sweeney) and E.J.'s (James Scott) wedding day has finally arrived, but in usual fashion, things won't go as smoothly as planned for the couple's nuptials on Days of Our Lives.

Sami and E.J. Finally Get Married?

Prior to the ceremony, E.J. and Maid of Honor Abigail (Kate Mansi) were trying to ensure their onetime secret affair remained under wraps. The secret was nearly revealed several times, but the two believe they've gotten away with it. They almost did-until Sami stumbled across photos of the two together and realized what has been going on, swearing she would get her secret and sneaky revenge.

Now, the wedding day has arrived and Sami's revenge may finally be happening, as the ceremony rapidly descends into chaos. Her ex-husband and Salem PD detective Rafe (Galen Gering) received proof at the police station just before the wedding, which implicates E.J. as someone who had planned to murder Nick Fallon. He received evidence showing E.J. had hired a hit man, and while that hit man never killed Nick (Rafe's sister Gabi was the culprit), E.J. did dispose of his hit man, making him also guilty of murder.

Sami Makes Abigail Uncomfortable As Part Of Her Revenge Scheme?

Now, Rafe will arrest E.J. for his crimes-effectively destroying what should be the happiest day of his and Sami's lives.

Meanwhile, police chief Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is still somewhat intrigued by Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), despite the weird and tumultuous history between the two. After overhearing how protective he is of his son, Chase, she will begin to probe him for more answers about his past-and will finally learn more about the lawyer's late wife in the process.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
