Hawaii Five-0's Steve McGarrett will get a new love interest for season 5.

After four seasons with Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth), McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) will move on with his love life. With Rollins off the grid in Afghanistan for an indefinite period of time, it's not particularly surprising that the pair may consider their relationship to be - at the very least - on a break.

The newest addition to the Five-0 cast will have connections to McGarrett's father from well before the pilot episode, according to TV Guide. A former cop himself, John McGarrett (William Sadler) apparently took the time to look into an old cold case for out unnamed female.

"After [John] died, this woman, on the anniversary of his death, always shows up at his grave to basically thank him for everything he had done," said executive producer Peter Lenkov, according to TV Guide.

Is that where Steve will meet his latest love interest, at the grave of his father? Unfortunately, fans will probably have to wait for McGarrett to deal with the newly returned Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos) before the Navy SEAL will have time for any extracurricular activities.
