The many actresses hoping to nab the part of Elsa (from Frozen) in Once Upon a Time will have to "let it go," as the show's producers have officially cast the popular snow queen.

Actress Georgina Haig will be playing Elsa in the upcoming fourth season of Once Upon a Time, according to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter. Haig, an Australian actress who is currently starring in the CBS drama Reckless, is expected to make her debut appearance as Elsa in the Season 4 premiere.

Haig joins previously announced actors Scott Michael Foster (Greek) and newcomer Elizabeth Lail, who are set to play Frozen characters Kristoff and Anna, respectively, in the new season.

As previously reported by TVLine, Elsa will be appearing in nine episodes of the fourth season, while Anna will be in between six and eight and Kristoff will be in as many as six.

Once Upon a Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz recently told Entertainment Weekly Radio that they will remain faithful to the "essence" of Elsa but still put their own Once twist on the character.

"For us, I think this is Elsa from Frozen. That was kind of the inspiration... Will there be our own elements put to it? Yes. Like all things like we do with Snow White or Peter Pan or Captain Hook, we take our own kind of twist on it but remaining faithful to the actual essence of the character."

Once Upon a Time Season 4 debuts in the fall on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a set air date. It will be returning to its regular Sundays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
