A car accident already claimed one young life in Port Charles and a second accident over the holiday weekend could take another on General Hospital.

Sam, Patrick & Silas Close In On Rafe?

The truth is out that Rafe (Jimmy Deshler) was responsible for the accident which ran Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) off the road, forced Sabrina into early labor, and wound up killing their infant son, Gabriel. Now, his reasons for the accident could also be revealed.

Only one person so far has proven they were aware of Rafe's cocaine problem-T.J. (Tequan Richmond) and he may finally tell someone who can help him.

Patrick Remembers Something From The Accident?

"Tell me what Rafe did," Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) says to him in a preview clip for the Thursday, July 3 episode.

The news that Rafe is on drugs could come at the same time that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) prepare to confront him for the accident and for stealing money -but after they kick down the door to Silas' (Michael Easton) apartment and realize the teen isn't there, they will be forced to run when they hear he is behind the wheel of a car again.

"RAFE!" Sam screams in the clip as she and Dante bolt to catch up to the car as Rafe speeds away.

However, Rafe, who could once again be high, is not necessarily alone in the car. T.J. confessed to Molly (Haley Pullos) that Rafe was using drugs and she went to confront him-and refused to get out of the car until he told her what was going on.

"What are you doing? Get Out!" Rafe says to her.

Molly's refusal could cause Rafe to speed off with her still in the car as well, and a preview clip for the week's episodes teases that another car accident is set to take place and mar the Fourth of July celebrations in town-especially when it potentially kills someone.

The promo teases the week will go out with a "deadly bang"-as Dante and Sam try catching up to Rafe and Molly, meaning one of the four could potentially not see another July 4.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
