One Direction may be one of the hottest bands in the world, but the boy band also has massive respect for their elders, including British powerhouse Coldplay.

Harry Styles Solo Rumors Go Viral

Coldplay performed in London on July 1 and Niall Horan was one of many in attendance.

"The royal Albert hall was rocking tonight! Went to see Coldplay, was incredible ! Never seen them live before, so was a great experience," Horan tweeted after the concert. The 1D boys had a quick break at home before playing their July 2 show in Dusseldorf.

"What a laugh in Dusseldorf tonight. We had a right laugh on stage and the crowd was amazing. Thank you!" Horan wrote afterwards. Liam Payne also tweeted, "Great show tonight really enjoyed it :) love that after so many years together we can still have a laugh on stage love my boys man".

Andy Murray Declares His Respect For One Direction

One Direction fans were worried recently when Kodaline frontman Steve Garrigan said he was writing songs with Harry Styles, for either 1D or a Styles solo project. "It was really strange how they came about," Garrigan told Digital Spy about Styles. "He just turned up to a show, and he likes our music. We had a bit of free time and so we went to the studio and wrote a song. It was good fun."

"There are hundreds of songs flying around," Garrigan continued about being picked to be on 1D's new album. "It could be on his album if he does something, but I don't know. Nothing is set in stone."

One Direction's rep calmed fans fears by saying that there is no Styles solo album on the works.

"There are no plans for Harry to release any solo music at this time, any writing that he is doing is for potential One Direction songs," a rep for One Direction told E! News on July 1. "It's common knowledge that the boys write separately and bring to each other for the album."

Styles tweeted after the show, "Dusseldorf.. You were fabulous. Hope to see you again soon. Thank you for having us .x"
