Austin Mahone is going on a U.S. summer tour starting in July and fans cannot wait. One of the musical acts opening for the 18-year-old will be Vine sensation Shawn Mendes, who just dropped his first single this week.

Mendes, 15, became famous for making videos on Vine and was signed to Universal Music's Island Records in June. Mendes is the third most followed musician on Vine. When he posted a clip of him singing Justin Bieber's As Long As You Love Me, it blew up.

"I was like, 'Whoa,'" Mendes told Billboard. "It snowballed to 50,000 in a few weeks, to a 100,000; from October when I had 200,000 to now when I have 2.5 million. It's a cool story when I think back to it."

Now Mendes just released his single Life of the Party. According to Just Jared, Jr. the song hit number one on iTunes nearly 90 minutes after its release.

"I'm definitely not used to anything that's going on," Mendes said. "I'm in awe." Even singer Ed Sheeran, who just released his second album X was impressed by Mendes. "I feel like he was trying to help me be successful in the industry by giving me all this advice," Mendes said about Sheeran. "He's the most humble guy I've ever met. I forgot he's my idol -- I felt like I was in the room with one of my buddies."

If anyone can understand what Mendes is going through, it's Mahone, who also became famous via the Internet. Mahone is currently overseas promoting his album The Secret, but his summer tour with Mendes, Fifth Harmony and The Vamps is set to kick off July 25 in Texas.
