The star couple from last season of ABC's The Bachelor might be spending time apart this week, they let the world know that the time apart isn't their first choice.

Juan Pablo Galavis & Nikki Ferrell Take Separate Vacations

Last night Nikki Ferrell, who won Juan Pablo Galavis' heart during the ABC dating competition, sent a sweet little message to her beau.

"Saw this and thought of you," tweeted Ferrell including an image that read "There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them up from your mind and hug them."

Galavis promptly responded on Twitter with "PICK ME UP PLEASE!!!" followed by a smiley face with hearts for eyes.

The pair are spending time apart this week, Galavis in New York and Ferrell in Pagosa Springs, Colo. with her family. This is the first time they have acknowledged the distance between them since Ferrell left for her trip, quashing suspicion that the two are having problems.

Ferrell announced on Twitter on Monday this she was going on a "quick family vacation" and so it is likely that soon she will be reunited with her beau.

Last month Galavis posted a photo revealing a ring on Ferrell's left hand, instantly sparking talk of an engagement for the two after two months of exclusive dating. Galavis created controversy on The Bachelor when he gave Ferrell the final rose, but did not propose to her.

Neither Ferrell nor Galavis have commented on rumors that they are engaged.
