On July 10, the synopsis for the first episode, titled The Calm, of season 3 of Arrow was revealed and it seems like Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is going to start taking initiative when it comes to wooing his love.

The Atom To Romance Felicity Making Oliver Jealous In Season 3 Of Arrow?

This bit of news is sure to excite fans who are always rooting for Oliver and Felicity to get it on already. According to the synopsis, Oliver will be asking Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date right in the beginning of the next chapter of The CW series. But date night might not go as smoothly as planned as their will be evil lurking right around the corner. The brief for the episode also refers to a deadly villain who "reappears in Starling."

TVLine report from June 26 revealed that the first villain of season 3 will be a man by the name of Seth. Though we are not exactly sure if a villain by that name appeared in the first two seasons. The villain was descirbed as a "shade of a man" and "criminal mastermind who whistles classical music." Of his physical characteristic, it was revealed that he will have "reptilian eyes."

"In the aftermath of this victory, Season 3 opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen -- not as long as the city needs The Arrow."

Season 3 of Arrow will premiere on October 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on the CW.
