The second season of House of Cards just earned a whopping 13 Emmy nominations and the Netflix executives are completely psyched by this massive pat on the back. So the producers sent across an ice cream truck to the site of filming for season 3 to celebrate with the crew of the show.

Latest Tidbits On Season 3 Of House of Cards

Showrunner Beau Willimon thanked Netflix sharing a picture via Twitter showing the crew lined up to get an ice cream from the truck in rainy weather. 

"Thanx @Netflix 4 sending an icecream truck 2 set on Emmy nom day! Every1 at @HouseofCards is thrilled abt our 13 nods" -- he tweeted.

Kevin Spacey, who plays Frank Underwood on the show, also tweeted his delight at the show of support from the Emmys:

"@Netflix producing more quality content than ever before with 31 #Emmys nominations!"

The third season of House of Cards will film in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
