As pre-production for season 3 of Arrow is already underway, all manner of spoilers are surfacing and to make it easier for fans to piece together the information, Enstars rounded up all that we know so far about the next chapter of the CW series.

First-off the next season has added a whole bunch of impressive new stars. The biggest draw will be Superman Returns star Brandon Routh who will be stepping in as Ray Palmer aka The Atom (DC Comics superhero) on the show. He will be the new owner of Queen Consolidated bringing him into the mix. He will mostly be engaging with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards).

It had been suggested in earlier reports that Felicity is likely to get a new love in season 3, which will make Oliver jealous. And now Routh's entry has set-off the rumor that he might be the new man in Felicity's life.

First Two Episodes Of Season 3 Of Arrow Will Be 'Massive,' Stephen Amell Reveals

There will be plenty new villains and Peter Stormare (Fargo), will be portraying one of them. He will be playing the part of Werner Zytle, who is the alias of Count Vertigo in DC Comics' New 52s.

Zytle would replace the Count (Seth Gabel), who died at the hands of Oliver in season 2. Zytle will taken on the role of playing the new peddler for Vertigo. He will also be the first antagonist for the Arrow team in season 3.

Two other actors joining the cast will be part of Hong Kong flashbacks in Oliver's life. Sin City's Devon Aoki has been cast in the recurring guest role as Tatsu Yamashiro, a Japanese martial arts expert. The name for Tatsu's superhero alter ego Katana is derived from her sleight of hand with the blade.

Real Steel's Karl Yune will be playing the part of Maseo Yamashiro, who used to assist Oliver in Hong Kong. Tatsu will be Maseo's wife in the series.

While Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has been passed on the black canary jacket by her sister Sara (Caty Loitz), Laurel will be taking on the part of the Black Canary but fans were left wondering about Sara's fate. Stephen Amell has also stated that Sara will retrun and that "fans might see different facets of her." Amell has also teased fans about the possible return of Harley Quinn on the show.

The synopsis for the first episode of season 3 was also recently revealed and it states that Oliver will actually be pursuing his lady love as he will ask Felicity out on a date.

The official press release for season 3 of the show was also released earlier this month:

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. He returned home to Starling City, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice.

To do this, he creates the persona of the Arrow and allies himself with former military man John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), street brawler Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) and international assassin Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), while keeping his secret from those closest to him including his sister Thea (Willa Holland), who has allied herself with his most deadly enemy. Rivalries and allegiances will shift as Oliver faces his most difficult challenge yet."

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on the CW.

Season 3 premieres on October 8 on The CW.
