The ABC series will move to a new time this fall (9 p.m.), but Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team will still battle HYDRA on Tuesdays.

Starting on Sept. 23, viewers can catch up with Director Coulson, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), Agent Skye (Chloe Bennet), and (former) Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton). It is currently unknown if Agent Triplett (B.J. Britt) will be bumped up to a series regular.

The plot will pick up in the wake of HYDRA's devastating SHIELD coup, with Coulson attempting to rebuild a crippled agency.

"I can't be specific about it, but what I can say is we had such a strong set of stories through that huge finale at the end," said ABC President Paul Lee at the 2014 summer Television Critics Association press tour, according to Zap2It. "That triggered up a whole load of story lines we're reading at the moment, and I have to say I'm loving those scripts."
