As filming for Insidious 3 recently began, the first image of Stefanie Scott on the first day of the shoot was recently revealed.

Scott posted an image on her Instagram page after wrapping the first day of filming. She is seen in a short, flowy black dress holding onto a bouquet of flowers.

"Day One = Done. Thanks to my agents and #Insidious family for the lovely flowers," reads the caption.

Just Jared also published pictures of Scott in a parking lot after having done some shopping on July 14.

Scott is starring in the film with Dermot Mulroney. 

When it was announced that Scott would be joining the cast, the producer of the movie Jason Blum took to Twitter to express his excitement at working with Scott again, whom he had worked with on Jem previously.

"@StefanieScott was amazing to work with on #JemTheMovie & I know she's going to make #Insidious3 very special! -JB" -- he tweeted via his production house page on June 12.

Blum (Blumhouse Productions) will be co-producing the third film with Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity).  Leigh Whannell, who wrote the first two chapter of the franchise -- which were directed by James Wan (Fast and Furious 7) -- will be directing and writing for Insidious 3.

Nothing has been revealed about Scott's character in the movie.

Insidious 3 will release in April 2015.
