It seems like all is not well heading into the first part of The Hunger Games finale.

Philip Seymour Hoffman Dead PHOTOS: 'Hunger Games' Actor Tragic Death Because of Drug Overdose?

A new poster and teaser trailer has surfaced for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 with President Snow (Donald Sutherland) giving a cryptic and eery message to the people of Panem. By his side are Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Johanna (Jena Malone), who seem reserved and trying to not fight the message that they are participating in.

The cut at the end of the trailer to Jeffrey Wright's Beetee shows that the resistance that was just getting started at the end of Catching Fire is growing and the ending of that film should directly affect what is happening in this next installment.

Mockingjay: Part 1 has featured teaser trailers so far playing with the propaganda angle without giving away too many large plot details. The trailers are short, but have given fans an idea of the tone that director Francis Lawrence is going for. Yet so far, fans have not had a glimpse at Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as the other people in the revolution have been doing the dirty work through propaganda.

The first look at Katniss in Mockingjay should be coming soon, followed by a full trailer outlining the epic scale that the film will display.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is directed by Francis from a script by Danny Strong. Along iwth Jennifer, the film stars Liam Hemsworth, Hutcherson, Malone, Sutherland, Wright, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, and Sam Claflin. Mockingjay: Part 1 also introduces Julianne Moore as President Coin.
