Hawaii Five-0 will welcome Amanda Setton to their 'ohana for season 5.

Will McGarrett Wrap Up The Shelburne Mystery Soon On 'Hawaii Five-0'?

The Crazy Ones actress will stay on CBS following the cancelation of the Robin Williams comedy, but Setton will swap her advertising job for one that involves examining dead bodies all day.

Setton will join Steve McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) team as Dr. Max Bergman's (Masi Oka) new medical examiner trainee, according to TV Guide. Named Dr. Mindy Shaw, Setton will help rebuild the female presence on the series in the wake of Catherin Rollins' (Michelle Borth) departure for Afghanistan.

"Max is going to be training a young female medical examiner," teased executive producer Peter Lenkov early in July, according to TV Guide. "It'll be somebody who will be there at crime scenes and be a voice in the ME's office."

When season 5 picks up, McGarrett will still be dealing with his long-distance separation from Rollins (and probably a few nightmares from his near execution in Afghanistan) while also trying to figure out Wo Fat's next move.
