A new alleged call sheet for FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show was posted on Twitter this week, revealing new information about character names and other actors slated to appear in the fourth season.

Neil Patrick Harris Offered A Role In American Horror Story: Freak Show

The call sheet is not confirmed to be accurate, but assuming it is, there is a slew of new information to be gained from it. Firstly, there are character names for Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Evan Peters, in addition to Sarah Paulson, whose character name is already known.

According to the sheet, Lange is set to play Elsa Mars, who is a German expatriate who owns one of the last remaining freak shows in America in Jupiter, Fla. Next on the sheet is Paulson, who will play both Bette and Dot Tattler, a two-headed character.

Bates will be playing Ethel Darling and while she will be playing a "freak," her character quirk is unknown at this time. Peters will play Jimmy Darling, who is presumed to be the son of Ethel. His character quirk is not known yet either.

Other actors and characters set to appear in Freak Show are John Carroll Lynch as "Twisted Clown," Grace Gummer, who appeared in the first season of American Horror Story and will now be playing "Penny the Candy Striper" and 6'8" fitness model Erika "Amazon Eve" Ervin, who will fittingly be playing a character named "Amazon Eve."

Most intriguingly, however, is the return of Naomi Grossman, who played Pepper in American Horror Story: Asylum. According to the call sheet, Grossman will be playing Pepper in Freak Show as well. Could this be the same character? With Pepper's unique features it's possible that she was featured in the freak show before being locked up in the Briarcliff asylum. This would be the first real crossover between seasons, which are, by nature, self-contained.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is slated to debut in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date.
