Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke is adding to the speculation that fellow competitor Maksim Chmerkovskiy might be dating superstar Jennifer Lopez.

Maks Chmerkovskiy 'Really Wants to be a Judge' on Dancing With the Stars

Burke attended the Young Hollywood Awards in L.A. on Sunday where she spoke with reporters about Chmerkovskiy and his new potential lover.

"Maks is a talented, talented young man," Burke explained, via E! Online. "He's a great guy. He seems like he's like this hardcore Russian but he's really a sweet, soft big bear. I've known him for 10 years."

She added that they are all friends through Leah Remini, who competed on the show last fall and is best friends with Lopez.

Speaking directly about the rumors of a Chmerkovskiy-Lopez romance, Burke did not confirm much other than the busy schedules for both celebrities.

"They're beautiful people, yeah. But at the end of the day it's more about the inside," Burke said. "It's more about how they are going to get along and if they match well together. She's so busy, he's so busy, but you never know. But if they fall in love, amazing!"

Chmerkovskiy is coming off his first win on Dancing With the Stars, winning the Mirrorball Trophy with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis. Chmerkovskiy and Davis have been fighting their own dating rumors.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 is set to premiere Monday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. The first two weeks of the season will also feature a separate results show Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
