The Iron Man 3 release date has arrived and the trailer reveals brand new insights for the film starring Robert Downey Jr. Although the trailer has not been made easily accessible, exclusive insiders have shared what we can expect from the film when it releases next spring.

"A new trailer for the film has already been revealed, but it's hard to find online right now. According to E! Online, the new footage from the movie, which is headed up by Shane Black (not Jon Favreau), shows off new Iron Man armor, as well as gives a glimpse of his new nemesis. That nemesis will be Mandarin, played by actor Ben Kingsley. Also in the movie will be Stephanie Szostak, who played in the film 'Dinner for Schmucks,'" Gather reports.

Comic-Con held a Marvel Comics panel and revealed new details about the next Marvel studios movie, "Iron Man 3."

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige sat on the panel with director Shane Black, "Iron Man 3" stars Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle, and the director of the first two films, Jon Favreau.

According to MTV Australia, the third installment of the hit franchise "Iron Man 3" is set for release in May 2013,

"Thor: The Dark World" is scheduled for November 2013 and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is due out in April 2014. A newly adapted Marvel title, "Guardians of the Galaxy" is scheduled for August 1, 2014.

According to Collider.com, Gwyneth Paltrow reprises her role as fiery redheaded love interest Pepper Potts and Don Cheadle is back as the cool Rhodey/Wat Machine. New additions to the cast including Australian actor Guy Pearce ("Memento", "Prometheus") as Aldrich Killian, Rebecca Hall ("'Vicky Cristina Barcelona", "The Town") as Maya Hansen.

The biggest revelation was the casting of Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley ("Gandhi""Schindler's List", "Sexy Beast", "Hugo") as The Mandarin.
