'Judgment Week' Encourages Performers To Step Up On 'America's Got Talent'

Power was taken from the Judges' hands as America voted for the five acts from the first round of eliminations to continue in the semi finals. Voting began Tuesday night and ended Wednesday afternoon, allowing fans to stand up for their favorite performers.

The final slot, however, was left to the judges to save. Their pick was The Baila Conmigo Salsa Dance Team, which won their hearts through skill and speed in spite of an unfortunate dance error last week when one of the dancer's suffered a fall during the performance.

The New Jersey dance team was joined by fan-chosen singer Emily West, magicians David and Leeman, comedian Dan Naturman, and singer Miguel Dakota as this week's semi finalists.

While the winners rejoiced in their triumph, the NBC talent competition said goodbye to some early judge favorites, including the family singing group the Willis Clan and Flight Crew Jump Rope, which was passed over during the final moments for the Baila Conmigo Salsa Dance Team.

The show last night also included performers by Enrique Iglesias and Sean Paul, along with recaps from the Tuesday night performances.

America's Got Talent continues on NBC with the next round of eliminations on Tuesday, July 5.
