Shia LaBeouf has gotten himself into some trouble the past few months, but the report that he was thrown out of a comedy club is completely false, according to his rep.

OK! Magazine recently reported that the 28-year-old was told to leave Ha Ha Café Comedy Club in Los Angeles on July 19 for disrupting the comedians' performance. The Charlie Countryman star was even accused of jumping onstage and telling jokes of his own.

"Even though Shia has never set foot in the club, and the manager of the club denied the alleged incident ever occurred, OK! nonetheless published the article after being informed that it was absolutely false. In addition, in this day-and-age of ubiquitous cell phone images, there is not one image of Shia at the club or on stage. In short, the story is complete nonsense," the actor's rep told E! News.

Shia LaBeouf's Court Case Adjourned Until September

LaBeouf's rep previously slammed rumors that claimed the actor checked into rehab for a drinking problem. The rumors emerged after the Fury actor was arrested for "disorderly conduct and criminal trespass" during a Broadway performance of Cabaret in June, according to the NYPD.

"Contrary to previous erroneous reports, Shia LaBeouf has not checked into a rehabilitation facility but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction," LaBeouf's rep said. "He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery. There will be no further comments made at this time."
