As filming for Terminator 5: Genesis is currently underway, it's a wrap for actor Dayo Okeniyi, who plays Miles Dyson in the movie.

Okeniyi posted a picture announcing that he was done with his share of filming via Instagram on July 31. The image features Okeniyi with Jason Clarke, who plays John Connor, and David Ellison, the producer of the film and executive at Skydance Productions.

"'Twas a pleasure creating with these #Kings #JasonClarke and #DavidEllison That's a wrap on #DannyDyson over and out. On to the next one. TerminatorGenesis," he captioned the image.

Latest Updates About The Plot And Filming Of Terminator: Genesis

There had been a lot of rumors surrounding who would portray Dyson in this film. Earlier this year, it was reported that that Courtney B. Vance (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Hunt for Red October) will be playing Dyson in this chapter of the sci-fi franchise. Dyson was orginally portrayed by Joe Morton inTerminator 2: Judgment Day.

Prior to that, in April it was being suggested that Dyson would be portrayed by John Boyega in the film. So it seems like while Dyson was always meant to be a part of this reboot the actor might have been replaced. It would be interesting to see how writers play around with Dyson's storyline in this iteration.

The new film is being directed by Alan Taylor and Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as the iconic mean machine. Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke will be portraying the part of John Connor, and Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor. Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) will be playing Detective Cheung, who will arrest Kyle and Sarah when they arrive in 2017.

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
