Nothing can stop Bachelor in Paradise now. The show debuts Monday, August 4 on ABC, bringing together vaguely familiar people from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette in a tropical location to maybe, this time, actually find love, or something.

Bachelor In Paradise Host Chris Harrison Can't Express The Show In Words

On Friday, Entertainment Tonight reported on a conversation they had with Bachelor in Paradise participant Marquel Martin.

Martin is going to be fresh in people's minds, as he was on the just finished season of The Bachelorette, which he did not win, to the extent anybody truly "wins" on these shows. Now, he's back, and he kind of seems to like his chances of finding love, or whatever, better. Martin said, "When you kind of even out the ratio in terms of girl to guys, you get, you know, a lot of personalities, and a lot of different ones romantically. It was challenging."

That is somewhat coherent. However, he did say that it was less challenging that The Bachelorette. Apparently, when several men are competing for the love of one woman, the odds are stacked against you. Well, maybe this time it will be difference. Perhaps Martin will find love and win or whatever.

Of course, the promos for Bachelor in Paradise are focused on bathing suits and handcuffs and hospital visits, and maybe they aren't quite so interested in people falling in love and such. People can find out what Martin and the rest get up to when the show debuts this Monday.
