While Chris and Dov of ABC's popular series Rookie Blue try to save their friendship as Chris struggles with drug addiction, both of their lives are in danger in the upcoming episode as they try to solve a case.

Chris and Dov seemed to put their differences aside in coming together in hopes of saving their lives as well as a victim.

On Friday, ABC released a synopsis of the episode, called Exit Strategy.

"As Chris and Dov race to save a critically injured victim, Chris notices a strange smell permeating the room. He discovers a gas leak, but when he rushes to get help, he realizes that they're locked in the room. With few options, and even fewer exits, will Chris and Dov find a way to get out of this explosive situation alive?"

The summary was also paired with a sneak peek that shows the former roommates attempting to get out of the life threatening situation. While in the room they are both focused on the victim who has been shot. Chris noticed a gas smell and noticed that the bullet hole from the gun shot hit the wall and made a space for gas to come through into the room.

As they tried to make an escape plan, Chris discovered that they're also locked in the room. While Dov wanted to radio for backup to come help them, Chris was afraid that it would cause a reaction from the gas that would leave all of them dead.
