Rizzoli and Isles are about halfway through their fifth season, and it seems like the drama could be taken to the next level for this long running TNT crime procedural.

Jane Is Desperate To Return To Action In Upcoming Rizzoli And Isles Episode

On Monday, Rizzoli and Isles' official Twitter account posted a teaser for the upcoming episode, which seems like it may be significant to Angie Harmon's Jane Rizzoli. According to the tweet, "Jane goes off the grid."

The episode, which is the eighth of the season, is entitled "Lost & Found." It will involve the witness of a contract killing being chased down, and the team doing everything than can to protect her. The promo seems to indicate that Jane will go to particularly great lengths, and perhaps will find herself in the literal line of fire. The character is known for putting it all on the line, and it could end up costing her in this particular episode.

Devastating Loss Upcoming On Rizzoli And Isles

Obviously, since her name is right in the title, the gravity of what can happen to Rizzoli is slightly limited, but future episode synopses seem to indicate that Jane might find herself in the hospital, but the reason, and the severity, remains unknown. It also is unknown what exactly isles will be up to in the episode, as she is featured less in the promo, and is not mentioned by name in any synopses for "Lost & Found."

Rizzoli and Isles airs Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. on TNT. The show remains one of the better rated programs on TNT, and on cable in general, and the show's fan base may be in for some major events in this next episode.
