Since Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj released the remix to "Flawless" on Sunday morning, the internet (and their die-hard fans) have been going crazy over the candid, in-your-face lyrics. Since the raptress is on a roll right now, not only releasing her new verse with Bey but also her new track "Anaconda", Hot 97's Ebro and Miss Info called her to discuss her latest moves.

In the 8 minute interview, Minaj or Onika as Beyoncé referred to her, talked about her time in the studio with Bey, her new video, and more. Check out the excerpts and listen to the full interview, below.

On her studio session with Beyoncé:

"I think like, a month or two ago, G called me while I was on my way to Vegas and he said, "Beyonce wants you to remix 'Flawless." After I got proper medical help and started breathing again, I was like "What?!" (Laughs) She sent me a version that she wanted... She told me, I want you to be you. I don't want you to hold back. I said, "You sure?" She said, "Yea, I just want you to be you and do you." I recorded the verse in New York and she stopped by the studio and she was such a sweetheart. She was hyping me up! Like, "Yea, do your thang! Don't hold back! Go in!"

I was just waiting for her to drop it. She told me that she would drop it in the middle of her tour. I wrote the verse before she even went on tour, and that's basically how that happened."

On why it took so long for she and Beyoncé to collaborate:

"When I was putting out mixtapes, I would always remix her stuff... I'm not going to lie. Recently, I thought it would never happen because if she was going to ask me, she would've been asked me. But, I think the stars just aligned the right way. I think we are in the right places in our careers and it makes sense now. I feel like with the release of her last album, her records are kinda geared towards what I do now and so, it is what it is."

On a possible collab with Remy Ma:

"Before Remy Ma came home, I said I would love to. I was a fan of hers before she went to jail and nothing has changed. I've always felt like she was at the top of her game... You know, we'll see. I'm not closing that off."
