While there is speculation that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) never stepped foot on the train during The Big Bang Theory Season 7 finale, a new report claims that he actually did.

Penny May Get A New Hairdo on The Big Bang Theory

Sheldon did wind up getting on the train after the end of last season of the popular sitcom, TVLine confirmed in a new report. However, the report then clarifies that the more important question is if he actually stepped outside of the train amid his decision to leave town.

Sheldon was very upset when Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) told him that Leonard would be moving out of the apartment.

The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Premiere Date Revealed

However, considering he is the star of the show and that Parsons just renewed his contract for three more seasons, it is safe to assume that Sheldon won't be gone for long.

Parsons, along with Galecki and Cuoco-Sweeting, are each receiving deals that promise them $1 million per episode each through three years. They also reportedly signed deals to have more of a share in the sitcom, which has generated billions of dollars over the course of its seven seasons on the air.

This puts Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco-Sweeting in the same territory as NBC's massively successful sitcom Friends. By the end of its run, each of the sitcom's stars was receiving $1 million per episode.

The Big Bang Theory premieres its eighth season of Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
