Rosie O'Donnell made quite an impact on the last episode of The Fosters when her character had to be the hero during a fire, and it turns out that that may not be her last visit to the series.

Betrayal Comes Between Callie & The Quinns?

In last Monday's episode, the actress reprised her role as foster care worker Rita Hendricks where she had to save everyone as the group home went up in flames. O'Donnell revealed that there was more to that scene than what she expected since a majority of it did not require a stunt double.

"I was very surprised when I read the script and it said I was going to save somebody from a burning fire," she told Entertainment Tonight, published on Monday. "I thought, 'Wow, that [poor] stunt person, and then they fitted me for flame retardant long johns to go under my [clothes] and I thought, 'Wait a minute! Am I actually getting near the fire?' and they were like, 'Yeah, you are.'"

Callie's Panic Attacks Are Threatened?

Executive producer Bradley Bredeweg mentioned that when O'Donnell found out she would be a part of this scene, she was excited about it.

"She put on that flame retardant suit, she was like a kid in a candy store," Bredeweg said. "She loved it." He then said that O'Donnell would be willing to come back to the show anytime.

"You know, anytime they want me, I'm doing it," O'Donnell said. "It really is a wonderful show. I'm very proud to be a part of it."

The Fosters airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
