Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are at it again. For the past six years the country superstars have been hosting the Country Music Association Awards, and this year the pair have been chosen yet again to lead the ceremony.

The announcement was officially made during ABC's airing of the CMA Music Festival on Tuesday, August 5.

During a comedic bit, the pair faced off with some CMA trivia hosted by Little Big Town. Underwood won 8-0, scoring a set of Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood dolls. The members of Little Big Town then informed the audience that Paisley and Underwood will again be hosting the 48th Annual CMA Awards for 2014.

Brad Paisley Dupes Carrie Underwood With 'Moonshine In The Trunk' Teaser

On Wednesday News OK made the formal announcement that the pair have scored the gig for the seventh year in a row.

"Carrie and Brad are unmatched as a hosting team," claimed CMA Chief Executive Officer Sraha Trahern. "They have impeccable comic timing, industry credibility, critical acclaim, and a natural rapport that makes them popular with our live audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them presiding over 'Country Music's Biggest Night.'"

Underwood and Paisley have proven themselves to be good friend both on and off the camera. On July 31 Paisley sent Underwood a clip of his new song, claiming it was about her. The only problem? He'd said the same thing to half a dozen women. Should fans expect some banter and perhaps a few pranks at this year's award show? It's possible. The pair, have after all, been doing this for quite some time.

The 48th Annual CMA Awards will take place in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The ceremony will air live on ABC Wednesday, November 5 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
