Although no clear-cut release date has been disclosed for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Slashgear reports that Samsung will unveil its highly anticipated product at the IFA 2012 event in Berlin on August 30th.

Previous reports have linked the item to an October launch.  However, recent buzz had indicated that Samsung will be shooting for a September release; in order to beat out Apple's iPhone 5.

With Samsung remaining mum on the details, many are eager to get their hands on the latest information about the desired product.

There are rumors buzzing that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may have an unbreakable screen along with a 13-megapixel camera with a quad-core Exynos processor.  However, the speed of it is still unknown.

The handset will be accompanied with the most current Android Jelly Bean update, according to the Product Review.

The Galaxy Note 2 is also said to have a larger display than the original Galaxy Note, but sources are claiming that the device won't be too much bigger size-wise and will most likely copy the original's form.

Other chatter amidst the viral grapevine states that the Note 2 will have a flexible OLED display, although it does seem a little far-fetched at the moment.   Also, any new technology will not likely be unveiled in the product

In a worldwide battle for the top of the technological food chain, Samsung has clearly made its presence known with its upcoming release of the Note 2.  However, with Apple's iPhone 5 unannounced release set for later in the year, Samsung will indeed have their work cut out for them.
