It looks like a pregnancy for Hart of Dixie character Zoe Hart will happen a little sooner than eventually.

Scott Porter Hints At George & Tansy Reunion on Instagram

E! News reported in its Spoiler Chat Tuesday that a new female obstetrician is joining the cast for its fourth season.

It's not clear why, but it might be safe to assume that the doctor, who is described as a "complete professional" will be here to treat Zoe. She is slated to make her debut in the sixth episode. That gives writers and directors plenty of time to explain a pregnancy for Zoe.

Pregnant Rachel Bilson Spotted Eying Baby Girl Clothes

It might not be difficult to do so considering Zoe professed her love for Wade in the Season 3 finale. While he was geared up to relocate to Atlanta to open another Rammer Jammer, he ended up showing up at the end and changed his mind. He tried to make it clear to Zoe that his return didn't mean they were getting back together. But Zoe was also adamant in letting Wade know she would wait for him no matter how long it took for him to come back to her.

As for Rachel Bilson, who portrays Zoe, her real life pregnancy is what sparked speculation that Zoe would be expecting a baby in the highly anticipated upcoming season.

Her Hart of Dixie co-star McKaley Miller, who plays Rose Hattenbarger, revealed that Bilson is going to have a girl.

She told Hollywood Life at the Young Hollywood Awards July 27, "I haven't bought her anything yet because I feel like it has to be super special. She's such a fashionista, it's gotta so be cute and so perfect for her little girl."

Hart of Dixie returns in 2015.
