The murderous Queen of the Hamptons will see the season 4 premiere from within the walls of a psychiatric hospital, but Emily Thorne's (Emily VanCamp) clever deception won't be able to keep her locked away for long. When Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) does return to society, TV Line claims she will quickly gain the support of a police chief named Edward Alvarez (Nestor Serrano).

Perhaps this recurring newbie will actually believe her seemingly left field theories about Emily's true identity.

"We're just starting to explore his character right now," said executive producer Sunil Nayar, according to TV Line. "He's a friend of Victoria's on the force who really has her back at a time when she needs someone to have her back. We're not sure exactly where we're headed with the character, but we like the idea of her having an ally in a position of an authority."
