While Showtime's Penny Dreadful is far from getting a Season 2 trailer just yet, producer Christopher King has been boasting some pretty exclusive photos from the set.

Things Get 'Horrifying' On & Off The Set For Season 2 Of 'Penny Dreadful'

"Checking out fabric samples for a posh new #PennyDreadful set," he tweeted on Tuesday. "Ha! I used the word "posh", I'm such a #britishposer".

King included a picture of the samples, all of which consisted of a dark purple or lavender theme. Two of the fabric pieces were laid with an intricate black design, while one possessed a more floral purple and off-white print.

While King is enjoying his adaptation into European life, the producer did struggle on Friday when he spent some time at immigration trying to obtain his work permit. As of Tuesday, it seems that King has managed to sort everything out and is back on set.

Next year's season will boast two additional episodes, reflecting the network's faith in the series. The season will start off with an episode entitled Fresh Hell, written by series creator John Logan. The episode title does suggest that the trouble is just starting for this colorful cast of Victorian-age characters. There will be new villains, new monsters and new darkly designed literary characters to explore. A few of the directors from Season 1 will be returning and Logan will continue to pen the scripts.

Penny Dreadful returns to Showtime for a second season in 2015.
