Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney added a new photo on Instagram that shows off her style at work along with an accessory that one wouldn't normally see on a gymnast.

McKayla Maroney Exposes Petite Figure In Bikini Shot

On Friday, Maroney posted a photo of herself in a side shot as she wears a red, white and blue leotard, exposing part of her legs. Her hair is tied back as she looks into the camera and another girl stands behind her. Maroney happens to be wearing a choker necklace, something that is probably not allowed for gymnasts to wear while they tumble and swing on bars.

Maroney captioned the photo, "r chokers allowed in gymnastics ?" Odds are likely that answer is no, but it looks like she wanted to wear it just to see how it would look.

Maroney is also one of the number of celebrities who participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge this past month. In an Instagram video, she stands by a pool in a bikini as two people prepare to dump freezing water all over her. They slowly brace themselves as Maroney lets out small screams, then really lets it out when the water gets all over her.

Maroney has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram, making her not only one of the most popular online celebrities, but also one of the most popular gymnasts for fans to follow. Most of her photos are random selfies showing off her style.
