McGarrett's team will undergo a bit of a shake up now that Lou Grover (Chi McBride) is part of the task force and Jerry Ortega (Jorge Garcia) consulting on the side, but the core four will still see advances in their own storylines.

"I'm looking forward to any more character stuff, just to see what they have lined up for Kono," said Grace Park (Kono) during a photo shoot.

Luckily for Park, Kono will see plenty of development in her love life throughout seas 5. As Adam starts to think about building a family, Kono will have to determine if her current lifestyle is compatible with children.

Meanwhile, McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) will have to cope with the departure of Catherine while TV Line reports that Danno (Scott Caan) will revisit the problem of his fugitive brother and Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) continues his battle with internal affairs.

"For now, I'm just willing to let [showrunner] Peter [Lenkov] and the writers take me on a journey wherever they want to go," Kim explained.
