More casting news for fans of Major Crimes. New characters have been announced for the winter season of the hit show.
Former CSI actor Alex Carter and 24's Carlos Bernard have been revealed as guest stars on the TNT drama, according to Entertainment Weekly Tuesday.
Carter will reportedly play a character named Ronald Glover. Glover is an affluent man who has been paying a lot for a surrogate baby, which is his wife's dream. But, when they are hauled in for questioning, their dreams ends up in to a nightmare. Carter will appear in the midseason premiere of Major Crimes.
Bernard will play a man named Pete Sims. Sims is a celebrity driver and recovered substance abuser, who is trying to stay straight and sober. Bernard will be in the third episode back.
Pretty Little Liars actress Torrey DeVitto was just announced for the season, as well. DeVitto has been cast as Lt. Flynn's (Tony Denison) daughter, Nicole, TV Line reported on Tuesday. DeVitto will appear in the episode called Acting Out and it's set to air on Dec. 8.
She is described by the site as "professional, endearing" and wielding "a touch of Flynn's edge and sense of humor."
Denison had revealed that his daughter may bring his character and Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) closer together.
"I was told that when the character playing my daughter shows up that there might be more of Flynn going to Sharon as an ally to help with that and dealing with whatever it is, but I don't know what it is," Denison told MajorCrimesTV about the "Shandy" relationship. "But whatever it is will probably just serve to draw us closer together."
